Get to know us 🙂
We are Ozren, Ivan, and Jasmin—friends since we were seven years old, when we first started sailing in the Optimist class. As kids, we competed in various sailing classes, and later, each of us pursued our own path to becoming professional skippers, working primarily in charter on boats of various sizes across the Adriatic Sea. As our families grew, we wanted to bring a part of our work closer to home—so we went back to basics!
We started OpaSailing to help build a stronger local sailing community and provide an affordable entry into the sport, while also showcasing the beauty of sailing in Kvarner Bay to visitors from around the world. Our mission is to be excellent ambassadors of both our sport and destination, welcoming newcomers to sailing and offering support and friendship to all who share our passion.
MEET THE TEAM

Ozren BlaĹľina – Oz
The strategist of the team. Calm and composed on the outside, but always thinking ahead. If it’s not in an Excel sheet, it doesn’t exist. He’s the guy who makes sure everything runs smoothly and avoids unnecessary risks—because someone has to!

Ivan Pucić – Puc
The laid-back free spirit. Always up for an adventure, often running on island time, and never one to get bogged down by paperwork. He’s the one who keeps things fun, reminding everyone that sailing is about feeling the wind, not filling out forms.

Jasmin Jaklin (Jazz)
The middle ground. A steady hand who plays by the book, making sure there’s structure without overcomplicating things. He bridges the gap between Oz’s meticulous planning and Puc’s go-with-the-flow attitude, keeping the team on course.
OUR BOAT:Â FEET 30 – “Opa”
The Feet 30, designed by Cossutti Yacht Design, is a fun, safe, and reliable boat built for both sailing education and racing. The thrill of sailing on this boat is unmatched compared to typical charter boats.
That being said, sailboats of this size that feature a beautiful, large open cockpit—like ours—typically have minimal cabin space, and Opa is no exception. Standing height is seriously limited, and the cabin is mainly used for grabbing gear or accessing the toilet when needed.
However, despite its spartan design, nothing essential is missing—you’ll still have a marine toilet, electric fridge, speakers, fresh water shower, and sun cover for a comfortable and enjoyable experience on the water. And if the wind dies, our inboard engine is quiet enough to keep the conversation flowing while we motor along.
“Opa” is not a fit for you?
Ask for whatever it is you are looking for. Being in the nautical business for so long we know many boat owners with bigger boats in our area, some of which we work with frequently, which are not listed anywhere on internet. Other boats may be available only for whole-day tour and upon early request (no last-minute)
